Dear Datuk Mayor,
Re: Criminal Conspiracy and Disturbances in our
area & our complaints – Taman Sri Kepayan
Further to our letter to you Yang Berhagia, the DG
of DBKK, YB Assistant Minister dated 3rd September, 2013 on the two
matters above-mentioned, we write to protest against what happened at the DG’s
invitation at very short notice of two hours to the Mesyuarat Berhubung
Perkembangan Program Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) Tanjung Aru at the 3rd
Floor of the DG office’s conference room at 2.30pm on 9th October, 2013. We attended the Program at such short notice.
2. So
the event yesterday at the DG’s conference room is just another continuance of
the Criminal Conspiracy over an
abused and petty dog issue. We have
stated our stand in several letters etc including a brief Memorandum to you and
the Assistant Minister concerned and no reply has been forthcoming from the
YB Datuk Edward Yong. YB DEY
(questioned motive) and DG came to our house on 26th September, 2013
after we lodged a Police Report on 25th September, 2013 on the Criminal Conspiracy.
3. Please
don’t focus on the guard dogs we have that are doing a wonderful job in
security for our family and the families around. But focus on the rising crimes and DBKK has
an important role in combating crimes in the city together with the Police to
make KK City a safer place for all. The
complaints on various other violations of By – Laws we raised also need to be
addressed immediately.
4. It
is sad that not many houses in KK have dogs and to avoid an extinction of that,
some liberal policy must be in place unless some quarters so hate dog at their
own peril when dog is another very important creation of God to be our daily
visible friends while God is every where.
5. The
guard dogs are not nuisance to anyone unless deliberately agitated by
neighbours to be so but likely criminal minded people are not only nuisance but
menace to society. So who should we take
appropriate action to keep the peace in society?
6.
Dogs
cannot speak except by signs and human beings especially dogs lovers must speak
out LOUDLY for dogs and justice for all. Justice for human beings should not
exclude justice for the animals especially guard dogs that are doing great job.
7. We trust that this matter of guard
dogs be laid to rest while our complaints in paragraph 3 be acted upon
without bias.
We
thank you for reading yet another letter.
Yours
faithfully,
Joshua
Kong Mary Kong
