Participation is free and it will begin from 3pm to 4pm.
“The 269 animals at our shelter will not be able to attend the blessing ceremony at BCCK on Oct 12. We therefore thank Friar Gerard Victor for agreeing to conduct a special blessing ceremony today (yesterday) for these abused, abandoned and unwanted animals.
“Some of them are healing from their wounds, others are pining for their families, and all of them are waiting to find new homes with loving families,” she said.
The animal blessing ceremonies are part of SSPCA’s annual World Animal Groove Music Festival 2013 (WAG 2013), which aimed to raise awareness about animal welfare, and to raise funds for the new SSPCA Animal Village.
