Datuk Mayor,                             By Hand                                                          17th January, 2014
Dewan Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu,
Kota Kinabalu.

CC:       Director – General
            DBKK,
            Kota Kinabalu.

Dear Datuk Mayor,

Re:  Criminal Conspiracy and Disturbances in our area & our complaints – Taman Sri Kepayan

Further to my several letters to you since we moved into this new area in late July, 2013, we are writing this for more information from you as this CRIMINAL Conspiracy is still on.

2.  We are not writing to the YB Datuk Edward Yong and we  hope you would extend a copy of this letter to him.  He did not reply to our letter together with the Memorandum on Guard Dogs in late August, 2013.

3.  The arrival of Datuk Edward at our house on 26th of September, 2013 further confirmed Criminal Conspiracy which may be a mystery to you but not for us.  His arrival at our house had raised some eyebrows in Facebook and blogs as it had exposed his agenda.   A photograph of his presence is attached for your reference.

4.  Then the very prompt arrival on 24th of December, 2013 of the DBKK’s staff of the division of health and animals control  (not identified to us) as shown in the second photograph further confirmed that DBKK is working for our right neighbour in the Criminal Conspiracy.  Without earlier communication with us, the arrival of four staff in a DBKK’s vehicle over the burial of our guard dog named Rocket on 21st of December, 2013 after it was poisoned by the “right neighbour “.

5.                   We would appreciate that you would provide us with the Official Report for both visits in paragraphs 3 & 4

6.  We had already lodged complaints to DBKK for violations of the by-laws by  the neighbours and please take appropriate action.  We will provide photographs in due course.

7.                   We trust this would receive your prompt reply.

Thank you,

Yours faithfully,

Joshua Kong                        Mary  Kong

P/S:  Two strangers came to our neighbour house to the right  and allowed in by the maid to take photographs of

our back garden as invasion of our privacy at about 3pm yesterday. Mary’s request for identity was ignored.

He also stated that City Hall under the Safe City Programme would install a total of 24 CCTVs around the city.---- dogs are better..than CCTVs.Joshua

Mayor regrets attitude of some
Published on: Friday, February 28, 2014
Kota Kinabalu: Everyone must play a vital role in crime prevention, littering issues as well as in fighting vandalism, said Mayor Datuk Abidin Madingkir.
"The government has provided us lots of funds for facilities.
The people need to change their mindsets because they tend to damage and refuse to look after the facilities provided for them," he said, adding that they had also spent a lot of money on maintenance.
"For example, the cycling track at Tanjung Lipat. It has not been officiated yet but it has already been fully utilised and this shows that the project had benefited the citizens of Kota Kinabalu," he said.
However, according to Madingkir, it was reported that motorcyclists had used the tracks for racing purposes.
"The tracks are not even meant for motorcycles and our enforcement had worked very hard to stop this activity," he said, adding that when it comes to vandalism, even steel planted in concrete can be pulled out by irresponsible individuals.
He also said it is the duty of the citizen to work together and not to put the total blame on police or City Hall.
"When there are problems concerning rubbish, then the people would put the blame on the Mayor and City Hall. However, they should realise that instead, it is our duty - it is the duty of the community in the city to help with these issues," he explained.
Madingkir said this when officiating at the Cleaning of Black Spot Areas Initiative Implementation Workshop 2014 at Kota Kinabalu Study Centre, Kingfisher Park, here, Thursday.
"Therefore, today we should all make full use of the workshop to discuss issues for the locations involved which are Inanam and Luyang.
It is through this workshop that we are able to voice out our ideas, not only in Inanam and Luyang but also at the other places in Kota Kinabalu," he said.
According to Madingkir, the locations involved in the programme are Inanam town, Inanam Laut, Inanam Bus Terminal, Kolombong as well as other places nearby whereas Luyang includes places such as Damai, Foh Sang, Bornion, Lintas, Lido and others nearby.
"We hope to determine the problems and issues around these areas besides the suggestion of location for the DBKK Safe City Programme 2014, for example, the fixing of street lights, road dividers, reminder signboards as well as motorcycle parking lots with locks," he added.
He also stated that City Hall under the Safe City Programme would install a total of 24 CCTVs around the city.
Madingkir explained that Black Spot areas do not refer solely on the high index of crimes but also filthy and unmanageable areas involving unhealthy activities such as selling contraband cigarettes.
"We need to install CCTVs on these areas," he added.
Previously, he said City Hall had received RM2. 375 million from the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2013 for the Safe City Programme.
Madingkir said he hoped everyone would discuss measures to clean the mentioned Black Spot areas, which would later be realised, documented and implemented by City Hall.
